Vaithi Muttulingam, CPA, CFA

Vaithehi Muttulingam is responsible for financial and
compliance monitoring at Arrowstreet.
From 1994 to 1999, Vaithehi was an Auditor in the assurance
and business advisory services unit at PricewaterhouseCoopers
LLP. Her responsibilities included managing client relationships
and fund audits for large mutual fund complexes, preparation
of internal control reports on fund accounting functions,
and performing centralized assessments of expense structures
of funds complex-wide. She also provided research and
consulting services in connection with business re-engineering,
security lending programs, and implications of recently
issued regulatory guidelines.
Vaithehi started her career in accounting in 1993 as
a Staff Accountant for Gregor Professional Corporation.
While there, she was responsible for preparing financial
statements and quarterly payroll tax forms for clients.
Vaithehi received her MBA in Finance and Accounting
from The University of Oregon in 1993, and her BS in
Biochemistry from the University of Oregon in 1991.
She is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFA charterholder.

Joe Watson
Partner, Systems |
Joe Watson is responsible for Arrowstreet's Application
Development and Systems Administration needs.
From 1998 to 2000, Joe was the Applications Development
Manager at PanAgora Asset Management. In addition, he
developed and managed many internal applications which
he then integrated with a number of third-party vendor
applications. Joe's primary focus was on the International
and Domestic Equity Trade Generation and Processing systems
where he worked closely to meet the needs of both the
Investment Managers and the Back-Office Operations staff.
From 1980 to 1998 Joe held a number of positions at Sungard
/ Portfolio One Solutions (Shaw Data Services). Joe served
as Project Manager, Systems Architect, and Developer during
his tenure at Sungard. His areas of responsibility included
the management of many major enhancements to Portfolio
One's Portfolio Management, Trading, Research, and Pricing
systems. Joe also developed new systems to handle International
Tax Withholding, Forwards, Performance, and ISITC Trade
Communications. Joe was also the Architect and Project
Manager responsible for the development and launch of
Sungard's Verify™ Reconciliation product to a successful
market share.
Joe received his B.S. in Computer Science from Boston
University in 1982.
